Conference Presentations in Sendai, 2024
Eleven first- and second-year master’s students presented posters at one of Japan’s largest interdisciplinary conferences, jointly organized annually by four societies to advance micro/nanoengineering across electrical engineering, mechanics, physics, chemistry, biology and medicine: Future Technologies from SENDAI at Sendai International Center, including the 15th JSME Symposium on Micro-Nano Science and Technology and the 50th CHEMINAS Meeting (CHEMINAS48). Yoshida served on organizing committees for the mechanical and chemical societies and the paper committee for the electrical engineering society.
With more than 1,000 participants and nearly 700 presentations, the poster sessions were very lively. Flash presentations were introduced this year. The students reported learning a great deal from the many closely related studies—an encouraging response!
