Thesis presentations, farewell and welcome parties, and graduation!

Eleven fourth-year undergraduates and five second-year master’s students presented their theses! Second-year master’s student 礎 received the Electrical Engineering Alumni Association Award for the master’s thesis. Everyone gave excellent presentations.

We held a farewell party for graduating undergraduates 酒井, 芝﨑, 鈴木, and 長島, and master’s students 川上, 礎, 佐々木, 児玉, and 船越, while welcoming our incoming fourth-year students. Some first-year master’s students organized the event, and everyone also gathered beforehand to celebrate. Yoshida presented graduation gifts to the students.

The graduation ceremony was held at Civic Hall. Fourth-year student 村上 received the graduation certificate as the class representative. Many students also received certificates of excellence. Congratulations to everyone!

Our second-year master’s students were the first cohort of Yoshida Laboratory and helped build the laboratory from scratch. Thank you for three truly memorable years! It was wonderful to have a final gathering together. The four graduating undergraduates were our third cohort and all worked very hard. We wish everyone good health and success as they begin their careers!
